The South Africa Tour (Summer, 2002

During the summer of 2002, Wendy and the James Gang were blessed to be able to do an extensive tour in the country of South Africa. What an incredible and wonderful experience it was!

During this tour, they presented the God Loves You show 41 times in 30 days! They appeared at churches and schools mostly. In the schools—yes, even the public schools!—they were allowed to present the entire show, including the invitation to accept Jesus Christ as Savior.

A total of over 25,000 people attended these events! Although Wendy and the Gang were not allowed to ask the children in the schools to come forward, by conservative estimates, at least 5,600 children (mostly) prayed to receive Christ.

If you'd like to read more detailed accounts of the tour (written by Dave James himself), check out the following:

Now we hear that those who helped organize this tour can't wait to get Wendy and the James Gang back! Please pray with us about this opportunity.

In the meantime, enjoy some pictures from the tour.
